Armed with a bucket of tools, founder Primo Menconi began the foundation of what we now know Menconi Terrazzo to be today. Establishing in 1974, the company, then called Primo & Sons Terrazzo, took small patching jobs and slowly were given larger projects.
In 1983, Primo's son, Stephen Menconi was given reigns over the company and has successfully lead the company into one of the leaders in the terrazzo industry.
Today, Menconi Terrazzo is excited to be a part of the Illinois Brick Company and the Southfield Corporation's family of companies. By joining forces with Illinois Brick, Menconi can now thrive even better in the terrazzo market.
